What’s holding you back?

You have a dream, you really want to achieve something, you want to make change in your life, but you are holding back.

Overwhelm can be crippling, but if you breakdown what is causing the overwhelm, then each of the elements can be tackled individually and create a step by step approach to reduce the fear.

You don’t wake up one day and think, “I will run a marathon today” - its not going to happen as you know that there are things that you need to put in place before you can achieve that goal; diet & nutrition, gradual training, the right footwear….

Listing all the elements that you need to overcome to get to your goal can be helpful

for example:

Cost - what is it going to cost to get to your goal, how are you going to finance it, what is the source of the finance, how is it going to impact your finances?

Time - how much time do you need to put into this, do you have the time, how can you make the time?

Training - what do you need to know that you don’t currently know, is there a course you can take that can help, who can help you with training?

Resource - what resources will you need, what support do you have that you can use?

How can you break down your goals into small steps to get yourself closer to achieving them?
